Akili Labs added Clinical and Testing Laboratory capability to its portfolio. It’s a specialized lab in Molecular Diagnostics focusing on COVID & HIV. With 2 locations (Johannesburg & Cape Town), lab has total capacity of doing 2000 tests per day.
Lab has significantly contributed to COVID response in South Africa by providing cost effective and response time efficient covid testing to private and public sector, which in turn helped businesses to operate and contribute moving the economy.
